Much of language learning requires the student to learn words, sounds and patterns by heart. In the same way that a body builder improves their strength, the language learner needs to regularly flex their language muscles.
This book has been written for Russian students who have started learning about verbs. It’s a modern treatment of Russian verbs and their grammar. Although we cover aspects, tenses and moods, you can skip over the bits you don't understand.
There are 133 verbs in this book. The verbs were selected from well-known Russian textbooks and word frequency dictionaries.
The verbs are presented in groups by subject and learning objectives to help with memorisation. The verbs are fully conjugated and there are examples in each aspect and tense.
